As part of the NYCxDesign Festival, we invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition Kitchen Table Imagery with exhibiting artist Antonín Tomášek. The tour offers a closer look at contemporary ceramics as a space for ritual, memory, vulnerability, and social interaction.
Bringing together artists from the Czech Republic, Mexico, and the United States, the exhibition opens a dialogue across cultures and generations. Alongside established artists, it features works by students and doctoral candidates from the Ceramics Department at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, whose practices move between material experimentation and critical reflection.
