Střešovická Kramle brought a raw, loud, and unpredictable evening to New York, moving between concert, performance, and happening. The Prague-based collective of nine musicians and visual artists, whose work draws on punk, noise hardcore, post-underground, and its own unclassifiable poetics, performed as part of the Offbeat Bohemia series on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition When Monsters Dream. The evening opened with an experimental audiovisual performance by the New York trio Simon Deschamps & Club Ecology. Following Střešovická Kramle’s performance, the program concluded with a set by African American Sound Recordings.
