The director of the Czech Center New York Miroslav Konvalina signed an agreement cementing close ongoing cooperation and opening new avenues for even wider collaboration with the Czech Center Houston. Similarly to the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library in Iowa (NCSML), it should facilitate closer collaboration between the two parties, with an emphasis on the development of joint educational and research projects, exhibitions, and programs.
The Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Czech Center Museum Houston, Kerry Mazoch. The signing of the document took place in Florida together with Martin Palouš, former ambassador of the Czech Republic to the US, Dr. Cecilia Rokusek, NCSML President & CEO, and Dr. Sharon Schweitzer, Vice-Chair, Board of Trustees, NCSML.
