An evening with Czech writer Kateřina Tučková offered an interesting discussion about the process of writing her books: choice of topics, information gathering and its transformation into a narrative. The audience was spell-bound by Kateřina’s accounts of her visits to real-life locations and meetings with living witnesses. Véronique Firkusny, who translated one of Kateřina's book, also shared her views and insights. Many participants brought along their copies of Kateřina’s books and had them signed by the author. The evening took place one day before our big event, the European Literature Night 2023.
