Czech Center New York hosted the TEXTile Manifestoes Book Launch. The TEXTile Manifestoes anthology, published by UMPRUM, Prague, was presented by its editors Pavel Liška and Robin R. Mudry. The evening started with keynote remarks of Avital Ronell (NYU) and was framed with a fashion performance by Dusan Tynek Theatre Company. Robin R. Mudry passed on the message of Liběna Rochová, the ambassador of the whole project, and I. A. Roland-Rodríguez and Paris Lavidis (The European Graduate School), who accompanied the evening with a violin improvization, also presented their remarks.
The event took place in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York and Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association (BBLA).
