President Petr Pavel and Minister Jan Lipavský Visited Czech Center New York

Last week, the Czech Center New York had the honor to welcome two important visitors: Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, followed by the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel. Both travelled to NYC to attend a UN General Assembly high-level meeting.

Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, paid a visit to the Czech Center New York. He was given a commented tour through the exhibition Amicable Separation by the curator Charlotta Kotik and met with two of the exhibiting artists Kristyna & Marek Milde, and also an independent curator Milena Kalinovska.

President Petr Pavel visited Czech Center New York during his stay in NYC. He met with the director of Czech Center New York Miroslav Konvalina, who introduced his team, and then with Charlotta Kotik, the curator of the exhibition Amicable Separation, who explained some of the themes of the exhibition. He could also chat with some of the exhibiting artists like Kristyna Milde, Radek Brousil and Adam Vačkář.
