Sára Vondrášková, known by her stage name Never Sol, is a Czech artist and producer. She will present her music specifically adapted to themes of Czech films on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 7:00 PM on the roof of the Bohemian National Hall.
Her work is characterized by the use of melancholic synthesizer melodies combined with vocals. Meticulous sound design is a crucial element for her in creating an emotional context and atmosphere for the listeners. She is interested in the contrasting relationship between fragility and the grandeur of sound, resulting in highly emotional, even somewhat melancholic, music.
Throughout her career as an artist, she has already released two studio albums, Under Quiet and Chamaleo.
Never Sol is the alias of Sara Vondrášková – an accomplished musician, composer and producer based in Prague. In her musical practice she is now mainly interested in combining vocals with synthesizers.
Sara hosts a radio show at ČRo Vltava focused on alternative music scene and performs with electroacoustic project FLOEX. Her performance at the Czech Center New York will be part of the Czech Radio 100th anniversary celebrations (before the film screening Hop-Pickers.
