Czech bass-baritone Adam Plachetka stars again at the Metropolitan Opera in the role of Leporello in Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni which premiered on May 5.
The performance will be on stage from May 5 through June 2, 2023.

Adam Plachetka appears regularly at the Meropolitan Opera, New York, in the works of Mozart and Donizetti (Don Giovanni, L’elisir d’amore, Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte) and at the Salzburger Festspiele (Benvenuto Cellini, Rusalka, Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflöte). Last year he was starring in G. F. Handel’s grand baroque drama Rodelinda as the sinister Garibaldo, and in Benjamin Britten’s masterpiece Peter Grimes as the retired captain Balstrode.
