The Czech Center New York launched a special exhibition "Famous Czech Composers", organized by the Czech Center New York and the National Museum of the Czech Republic in collaboration with the Bohemian Benevolent & Literarary Association (BBLA), the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York, the Dvořák American Heritage Association (DAHA) and the Metropolitan Opera. The evening featured Michal Lukeš, Director General of the National Museum in Prague.
Tenor singer Tomáš Jeřábek, finalist of a Carnegie Hall Forte International Music Competition, accompanied by pianist František Jeřábek, performed works of the composers included in the exhibition.
