Czech Center New York commemorates the 130th anniversary of the arrival of Antonín Dvořák to New York City. Antonín Dvořák, one of the world's most renowned and played Czech music composers, arrived to the US on September 27, 1892 to become the director of the National Conservatory of Music of America and to improve its reputation. He lived in the United States during the years 1892 – 1895 and he composed here the Symphony no. 9, called also "From the New World".

Czech Center New York will remember the anniversary by several events:
Bohemian National Hall will open to public within the traditional Open House New York on October 23, 2022. The Czech Center New York, in cooperation with Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association (BBLA), the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York and the Dvořák American Heritage Association (DAHA) will offer guided tours in person through this special historical building. The tour will include the Dvořák Room, the exhibition space of the Dvořák American Heritage Association (DAHA) to commemorate the 130th Anniversary of Antonín Dvořák's arrival to the US in September 1892.
