The Czech Republic is taking over the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union on July 1st, 2022. Czech Center New York prepared in co-operation with its partners several key programs with the theme Visions for Europe.
All events, exhibitions, concerts and discussions will focus on the future of Europe.
The strongest motive of the international conference "Havel and Our Crisis" at Colby College in Maine will be sustainability. The same can be said about the exhibition "Innovations for Sustainable Future" at Czech Center New York, as well as the European Literature Night, organized in cooperation with the EUNIC countries in the Ukrainian Institute of America to express solidarity.
The biggest project outside of Europe during the Czech presidency is the International Conference of Scholars and Leaders at Colby College in Maine, USA, with the title "Havel and Our Crisis". The conference will take place on September 28-30, 2022.
