Summer is here and Czech Center NY was happy to support the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations in their beach clean up effort at New York’s Rockaway.
The event took place in partnership with the American Littoral Society and the coordinator estimated that we collected 225kg of trash! (That’s about 560 freedom units.)
Our Program Manager Em Solarova spent two hours picking up the leftovers of a party: little stars made of colorful metallic paper and decorative napkins. Whose idea was it to bring this to the beach!
