Station for Paused Forecasting presents recent works by seventeen emerging artists from the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). The exhibition reflects on the inevitable crossing of the threshold between study and practice—when the closure of one chapter collides with uncertain tomorrows. Before we are cast into the future, can we press pause on the last solid contours of the present and revise them?

Nicolas Prokop aka Schaumstoff is a Prague-based DJ with an organic, versatile approach to music. His selections intuitively respond to the environment, layering challenging yet rewarding sounds that uncover unexpected gems. For over a decade he has co-organized Priaum, held residencies at Prague’s Ankali club, and co-hosted Radio Rakytník on Shella Radio. He is also part of the Habitat Ensemble and works with sound in his artistic practice.
