A powerful new Czech drama inspired by the life of the accomplished athlete Zdeněk Koubek (1913–1986), who was celebrated in the sports world of his time as a “wonder woman” and held multiple world records in track and field—until he transitioned to male. Alongside the compelling personal journey of its main character, Dianiška’s play vividly portrays the rise of fascism in the 1930s, marked by pervasive homophobia, transphobia, and rigid gender stereotypes. As one of the most acclaimed works of contemporary Czech theater, presented in an absurdist style, it brings to light a long-suppressed story from nearly a century ago with striking relevance to today’s world.

Tomáš Dianiška (*1984) je český herec, dramatik a režisér známý svými eklektickými a satirickými hrami, které kombinují různé žánry a reflektují kulturní fenomény. Absolvoval Divadelní fakultu Akademie múzických umění v Praze. Působil v souboru Divadla F. X. Šaldy v Liberci, od roku 2014 je členem Divadla pod Palmovkou. Založil divadlo F. X. Kalba a spolupracuje s řadou pražských scén, včetně MeetFactory a A Studia Rubín. K jeho nejúspěšnějším hrám patří Transky, body, vteřiny (Blood, Sweat, and Queers), 294 statečných (294 Brave) a Tělo tajné agentky (The Secret Agent's Body), které získaly několik ocenění v rámci Cen české divadelní kritiky.
Edward Einhorn je dramatik, režisér, překladatel, libretista, divadelní publicista a spisovatel. Působí jako umělecký ředitel Untitled Theater Company No.61 a Rehearsal for Truth International Theater Festival. V roce 2006 uspořádal v New Yorku Festival Václava Havla a od té doby vytvořil řadu uznávaných děl, mezi něž patří Cabaret in Captivity, The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein (vybraná kritiky New York Times), The Pig, or Václav Havel’s Hunt for a Pig (také oceněná kritikou) a The Velvet Oratorio. Režíroval rovněž The Last Cyclist od Karla Švenka, který byl uveden v La MaMa a vysílán na stanici PBS affiliate WNET.
Katarina Vizina, rodačka z Bratislavy na Slovensku, získala magisterský titul v oboru muzikálového divadla v České republice a titul MFA v herectví na Brooklyn College, kde byla oceněna stipendiem za mimořádný přínos divadlu. Od roku 2002 je součástí jak tradiční, tak i avantgardní newyorské divadelní scény. Katarina vystupovala v divadelních hrách, muzikálech, monodramatech, kabaretech, skečových komediích, rozhlasových pořadech, filmech a v nesčetných dabingových projektech. Zpívá a vystupuje v angličtině, slovenštině, češtině, němčině a ruštině (a když ji přemluvíte, i v jidiš). Mimo jeviště je generálkou svých tří pohledných synů, osobní stylistkou své půvabné malé princezny a carevnou jejich otce.
